BarEdge (“we”, “us”) provides a directional bias analytics tool for financial instruments. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how it’s handled.

Information we collect

• Account data — your email address, and (if you sign in with Google) the basic profile information Google provides. This is handled by our authentication provider, Supabase.
• App data — the default instrument, timeframe, and calculator settings you save, and the candle-fetch history attached to your account, so your setup follows you across devices.
• Payment status — whether your account has active access and until when. We do not collect or store card numbers or mobile money details ourselves; payments are processed entirely by our payment provider, Snippe.

How we use it

Solely to run the product: authenticate you, restore your saved settings and history, and grant access once payment is confirmed. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.

Third parties we rely on

• Supabase — authentication and database hosting. Your account data and app data are stored there, protected by row-level security so only you can access your own records.
• Snippe — payment processing (cards and mobile money). Payment details are handled entirely on their hosted payment page; we only receive confirmation that a payment was made and the email used, to match it to your account.
• Deriv — the source of live market/candle data. Requests for market data are made directly from your browser to Deriv’s public API and are not routed through our servers.
• Google — only if you choose “Continue with Google” to sign in.

Cookies & local storage

We use a session cookie to keep you signed in, and local storage to remember your light/dark theme preference. Neither is used for advertising or cross-site tracking.

Data retention & deletion

We keep your account data for as long as your account exists. To delete your account and associated data, contact us at the address below.

BarEdge summarizes historical candle data into a directional read and derived price levels. It is a descriptive tool, not investment advice, and does not guarantee any outcome. Trading carries risk of loss.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product changes. Continued use of BarEdge after an update means you accept the revised policy.
